Big rematch on tap tonight when the Black Hills girls travel to Lacey to take on River Ridge. The Wolves took the first meeting on January 3rd when Taylor Sauls drilled a buzzer beating three pointer to give them the 62-61 win and solidify their place as the #2 team in the 2A EvCo. A Hawks win tonight could put that #2 spot back in play with WF West still looming on Black Hills’ schedule. River Ridge is ranked #4 in the latest AP 2A girls basketball rankings while Black Hills is right behind them at #5.

Over at Olympia High School, the Bears host South Kitsap with third place in the 3A Narrows on the line. Oly sits at 6-3 in league while the Wolves are just a game behind them at 5-4. The two teams met on January 8th in Port Orchard and South Kitsap came out on top, 40-38.
