Alaska Anchorage extended a three point lead at the half into a seven point lead on a Kalidou Diouf bucket with 15:49 left but an 11-3 run over the next three minutes gave the Saints the 42-41 lead at the 12:21 mark. After Seawolves guard Brian McGill missed a layup with three seconds left and the Saints Riley Carel barely missed a half court shot at the buzzer, the game went to an extra five minutes.
