Sam Munger gave up three runs in the first inning of game one but that was all Saint Martin’s would allow in their 11-3 game one victory. Joslyn Eugenio had a two run double in a four run bottom of the first inning that put the Saints on top for good and she relieved Munger in the second inning and pitched four scoreless innings giving up just one hit along the way. In game two, Taylor Bakos pitched a complete game, four hit shutout to push the Saints record to 22-10-1 overall and 12-5 in the GNAC.

W.F. West’s Mitch Gueller pitched a five inning no hitter in game one of #9 North Thurston’s doubleheader in Chehalis. Gueller struck out 12 Rams in those five innings and walked just two batters. Gueller is signed to play for Washington State next season but pitched in front of a bunch of Major League Baseball scouts today. In game two, the Rams held a 4-0 lead through five innings but lost in the bottom of the seventh inning to drop to 4-3 on the season. W.F. West is 7-0 and ranked #1 in class 2A.
