Saturday Scores: Geoducks Sweep Late Night Soccer Contests in Portland
Men’s Soccer
Evergreen 4, Warner Pacific 1 – Box Score
In a game that didn’t kick off until 10:30 PM in Portland, Evergreen scored three first half goals and knocked off Warner Pacific 4-1 to improve to 5-0-0 for the first time in program history. Tanner Williams scored the first two goals of the game in the 19th and 36th minutes and Willie Spurr added some insurance before the end of the half. Issa Hassan finished it off with a penalty kick goal in the second half.

Women’s Soccer
Evergreen 1, Warner Pacific 0 – Box Score
Stephanie Yoder scored the game winner in the 87th minute to give Evergreen at 2-1 win over Warner Pacific in Portland on Saturday night. Kayla Baskett was forced to make 12 saves in the Geoducks win and Ava Mickola scored her first collegiate goal in the 27th minute. The win was the first of the season for the Geoducks who improved to 1-4-2 overall and 1-1 in the CCC.
