WF West vs. Bellingham – 2:00 PM
Mary M. Knight vs. Tulalip Heritage – 4:00 PM
Montesano vs. King’s – 6:00 PM
2A WIAA Regionals – Winner-to-state/loser-out
Black Hills vs. White River – Puyallup HS – 6:00 PM
Black Hills faces a tough test in White River (21-5) in the regionals round at Puyallup High School. The Wolves and senior Sarah McGee are 18-5 overall but three of those losses came to the WF West juggernaut. White River won their district with a 48-45 win over Sumner and now has a short trip to Puyallup and will likely have a big crowd advantage because of their proximity and with their boys team playing right after them on the same court. The game can be heard live on 1240 AM and 95.3 FM KGY.
Boys basketball
2A WIAA Regionals – Winner-to-state/loser-out
River Ridge vs. White River – Puyallup HS – 8:00 PM
At 14-10, River Ridge’s record doesn’t look like much. But the Hawks are coming off a pair of loser-out wins in the district tournament that saw Jason Kananin step up and take over. But they get a tough White River team that is 19-7 on the season and won their district. The game can be heard live on 1240 AM and 95.3 FM KGY
Men’s basketball
Saint Martin’s vs. Simon Fraser – Marcus Pavilion – 7:00 PM
The Saint Martin’s men wrap up their season tonight with a very winnable game against Simon Fraser. It will be the last collegiate game for seniors Evan Coulter, Rei Jensen, Matt Dodson, Brad Norman and Kyle Karnofski.
