Today (12/11): Geoducks Host Loggers, Bears Host Cougs in Hoops Doubleheaders

Evergreen vs. UPS – CRC Gymnasium – 6:00 PM

The Evergreen women look to bounce back after a pair of losses in their opening weekend of Cascade Conference play with a non-conference game tonight against UPS. The two losses snapped a four game losing streak and the Geoducks now sit at 4-4 this season. This is their last home game of 2013 and they will not play again at the CRC Gymnasium until January 10. UPS sits at 5-2 this year and are coming off of a split with the College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon, the two teams that Evergreen lost to last weekend.


Men’s basketball

Evergreen vs. UPS – CRC Gymnasium – 8:00 PM

The men opened the season with a win over UBC-Okanogan but have now lost ten straight exhibition and regular season games including a convincing sweep by College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon over the weekend. Tonight they get a rematch with UPS, who dropped them 71-58 on November 15th at Memorial Fieldhouse in Tacoma. Kyle Calhoun scored 24 points including five three pointers in the loss. North Thurston grad Matt Reid is averaging 11.1 minutes per game for the Loggers.


Girls basketball

River Ridge vs. Yelm – River Ridge HS – 7:30 PM


Boys basketball

Capital @ Olympia – Olympia HS – 7:30 PM
