Seven Saints pitchers combined to give up 10 walks on the afternoon.  The Saints push their record to 4-13 overall and will open conference play with a four game weekend series against Montana State-Billings. Game one of the series is on Friday at 1:00 PM at Saint Martin’s.

Saint Martin’s didn’t play today, but they did take a loss off of their record. The Saints protested their 7-3 loss to Central Washington last Sunday after a home run by the Wildcats was first ruled foul and then ruled fair after deliberation by the umpires. The NCAA ruled in favor of the Saints and the game will have to be replayed from the point of the disputed home run, which happened in the first inning. Removing that loss means the Saints are now 8-4 overall and 6-1 in the GNAC. Read more from SMUSaints.com
