After it took a late rally to pull out a win over the London Rollergirls on Sunday, the Cosa Nostra Donnas jumped out to an early 63-8 lead over the Jet City Rollergirls en route to a 304-98 win on Monday night at Skateland!

England’s London Rollergirls opened up a 140-109 lead over the Oly Rollers’ Cosa Nostra Donnas midway through the second half but On’Da Sligh’s jam with 3:55 left to play gave Oly their first lead since the first half at 160-154 and the Cosa Nostra Donnas held on for a hard fought 186-175 win at Skateland! on Sunday night.

Capital Stage Race, Queen Stage – Rochester Primary School – 9:30 AM
Stage three of the Capital Stage Race is a 90 mile race for category 1, 2 and 3 men riders, a 67 mile race for category 1, 2 and 3 women and a 47 1/2 mile race for every other class that begins at Rochester Primary School at 9:30 AM. The 90 mile race goes all the way to Satsop and back. The men’s and women’s long loops get started at 1:20 PM.

Saint Martin’s vs. Simon Fraser – Billings, Montana – 11:00 AM
Saint Martin’s has two chances to win one game against Simon Fraser on Saturday in the GNAC tournament championship game in Billings, Montana. The winner of the tournament gets an automatic bid into the NCAA Division II tournament.
The Saints knocked off The Clan on Friday morning, 7-3, in eight innings to advance to the championship game. Simon Fraser dropped into the consolation bracket and shutout Central Washington, 2-0, to avoid elimination. The Saints and Clan have played five times this season with the Saints taking four wins.

Saint Martin’s vs. Northwest Nazarene (DH) – Saints Baseball Field – 12:00 PM
Can Saint Martin’s get to double digit wins this season? With another sweep of Northwest Nazarene on Saturday, it could happen. The Saints will honor five seniors on Senior Day, Cory Bassi, Brendan Jeffers, Anthony Klonitsko, Mario Sanelli and Bobby Twedt.

Oly Rollers USARS vs. Port City – Skateland! – 6:00 PM
The Oly Rollers host Stockton’s Port City Roller Girls on Saturday night at Skateland! in a USARS bout. It’s the first game of a weekend doubleheader for both teams. Port City will take on Underground Derby on Sunday morning while Oly will be back at it on Sunday night against One World. Tickets are $15 at the door.

Capital vs. Mark Morris – Ingersoll Stadium – 7:00 PM
Districts get underway for boys soccer when Capital takes on Mark Morris at Ingersoll Stadium. The Cougars earned the #2 seed out of the 2A EvCo by finishing 8-4 in league play while the Monarchs come in as the #3 seed out of the GSHL. The winner moves on to take on either Ridgefield or River Ridge.

Despite giving up four runs in the first three innings of game one, Sam Munger picked up here 17th win of the season in #21 Saint Martin’s 8-4 victory over Simon Fraser in Burnaby, British Columbia. Down 4-2 through five innings, Taviah Jenkins tied the game with a two run double and then scored the eventual game winner on a passed ball in the sixth. The Saints tacked on three more in the seventh to secure their 32nd win of the year.
In game two, The Clan’s Kelsey Hawkins spun a gem allowing just three hits in a 2-0 shutout. Taylor Bakos went the distance for the Saints allowing just two runs in the third inning and fell to 13-7 this season.
Saint Martin’s is now 32-13 and remains in first place in the GNAC at 14-6, one game ahead of Central Washington. The Saints return home on Saturday with a pair of games against Northwest Nazarene and another pair on Sunday against Central.

Saint Martin’s 5, Central Washington 4 (10 innings) – Recap
Alex Bielaski hit a solo walk off home run in the tenth inning to lead Saint Martin’s to a 5-4 win over Central Washington in game one today’s doubleheader. Bielaski led the way with three hits as the Saints picked up just their fifth win of the season. Anthony Klonitsko picked up the win working 2 2/3 scoreless innings in relief. Brad Banker got the start for the Saints and allowed two earned runs over 6 2/3 innings.
Game two of the doubleheader was suspended in the top of the fifth inning with Central Washington leading 5-3. The two teams will resume their game tomorrow at 1:30 PM.

PNRFU Division III championship game
Corvallis Brewers 27, Budd Bay Buffaloes 24
With a 27-24 loss to Corvallis, Budd Bay took second place at the Pacific Northwest Rugby Football Union championships in Bend, Oregon. The Buffaloes move on to the Pacific Coast Division II playoffs in San Francisco on May 4th and 5th.
