Lincoln 54, Shelton 3
Tristian Kwon broke a 64 yard touchdown run on the first play of the game and the Lincoln Abes never looked back in a 54-3 win over Shelton on Friday night.
Dionte Simon rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns and Joey Sinclair passed for two touchdowns but both went down with injuries in the second quarter. Sinclair broke his collarbone on a broken option play while Simon was hurt on an 11 yard run that ended with a fumble. Simon did not see the field again after the fumble and was seen leaving the field at halftime with his hand wrapped in ice.
Kwon added a 66 yard touchdown with 6:33 left in the fourth quarter and finished with 147 yards on just five rushes and the Abes improved to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the 3A Narrows.
Junior quarterback Tyler Giraldes passed for 126 yards for the Highclimbers, who fell to 2-2 overall and 1-1 in league.
