After dropping a pair of games in Riverside, California on Saturday, the 12th ranked Saint Martin’s softball team traveled across the Inland Empire and dropped another pair of games to Cal State San Bernardino, 3-1 and 3-2, on Sunday afternoon.
The Saints fell behind 3-0 in the game one and 1-0 in game two after three innings and never led in Sunday’s doubleheader, just as they never led on Saturday. Sam Munger struck out seven over six innings in game one but picked up her second loss of the season. Kaylee Lawson gave up a run in two innings but was tagged for the loss in game two.
Megan Miller went 3-for-4 with an RBI in game one to lead the Saints and Riko Toyama collected two of the Saints five hits in game two.
