The soccer season at Saint Martin’s gets underway for real today when they host a men’s and women’s doubleheader beginning at 3:00 PM. The men welcome fellow NCAA Division II squad Chico State to town. The Wildcats were 9-3-6 last season and will pose a tough test for the Saints. Another tough test for the Saints comes at 5:30 PM when the women play host to the NAIA Division II’s 5th ranked Concordia Cavaliers. Olympia High School grad Olivia Brock has played in all three of Concordia’s games at goalkeeper. The freshman has made two starts and has given up just one goal in 200 minutes and may get the start in her hometown today. The Cavaliers are 3-0 and have outscored their opponents 11-1.
