The game of the regular season so far in the regular season is this afternoon at Timberline where the Blazers will take on North Thurston at 4:00 PM. Both teams are tied atop the Narrows League standings at 8-0.

It’s been raining all night and morning and things aren’t looking too good weather-wise, but the the field at Timberline has been tarped since Wednesday night so if the rain lets up, there is a good chance they will get the game in.

North Thurston is coming off of a convincing two game sweep of previously league unbeaten Shelton on Monday and Wednesday and have outscored their opponents in Narrows League play 86-4. Timberline has only taken on the struggling Tacoma schools so far and have outscored them 94-6.

The two teams will also face each other on Monday at North Thurston with first pitch scheduled for 4:00 PM.

Boys soccer

Olympia @ Tumwater – Tumwater Stadium – 7:30 PM

The third annual Winkler Cup cancer awareness soccer game happens tonight with a non-league match-up between Olympia and Tumwater at Tumwater Stadium. Admission to the game is by donation and there will be a bake sale with all proceeds raised from the game going to the American Cancer Society. First kick is scheduled for 7:30 PM
