Gabe Padukiewicz went 2-for-3 and drove in five runs and Joey Knight drove in three runs on three hits in Olympia’s 14-5 non-league win over Capital on Bruce Crandall Military Day at Crandall Field. The two teams played a close game until the Bears broke it wide open with six runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth. Brendan Leonard picked up the win for the Bears.

Tyler Ridgeway hit a three run homerun in the second inning and that was all that starting pitcher Riley Stordahl and North Thurston needed to knock off the Highclimbers, 7-0, in Shelton. The Rams continued their dominance of the 3A Narrows League moving to 8-0, outscoring their opponents 86-4 in those games.

Timberline stayed right with North Thurston with their 5-2 win over Wilson in Lacey. Blake Nystrom went 2-for-2 and drove in three runs. The Blazers are now 7-0 in Narrows play and will host North Thurston on Friday afternoon.
