Ryan Mets allowed just one run over six innings in North Thurston’s 6-1 victory over Shelton in a battle of 3A Narrows League undefeated teams. Hayden Maliska went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run batted in and a run scored and Matt Zeutenhorst drove in a pair of runs for the Rams off of the Washington State bound senior Jared Welander.

The win moves North Thurston to 7-0 in Narrows play. In those seven games, the Rams have outscored their opponents 79-4 and have given up just 10 hits. Shelton drops to 7-1. The two teams meet again on Wednesday in Shelton.
