Seniors Brady Bomber, Roger O’Neill and Eric Taylor play in their last home game at Saint Martin’s tonight when the Saints host Montana State-Billings at Marcus Pavilion. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM.

Bomber has amassed over 700 assists in four seasons as the point guard for the Saints and it will be strange to see them without his steady presence next season.

O’Neill has started every game over the last two seasons and scored his 1,000 career point earlier this season. He averaged 13 points per game last season and leads the Saints at 15.5 points a game in his senior campaign.

Taylor has come off the bench as the Saints’ sixth man for most of his career and is averaging 10 points per game in that role this season. Taylor missed most of his junior season with an ankle injury but played in to many contests to qualify as a redshirt. You can read more about Taylor in this profile from the Saints’ Kyle Karnofski.

Last night it was the girls turn, today it’s the boys in the regional round of the state basketball tournament.

River Ridge, winners of 14 straight games and champions of 2A District IV, draw a ridiculously tough opponent when they take on Renton at 6:00 PM at Tumwater High School. Renton is 22-2 this season and started 19-0 before a late season loss to Kennedy and another to Sumner in the district playoffs. Tonight’s game can be heard on 1240 AM KGY.

After their district run fell just short in the title game, Donaven Dorsey and 15-9 Timberline heads to Tacoma to face 22-3 Mercer Island. The Islanders lost once to a team from Arizona, a one point loss to Bellevue in the regular season and a seven point loss to Lakeside in the district tournament. They are led by 6-8 senior Joe Rasmussen, who will be heading to Seattle Pacific for college.
