Wednesday scoreboard: Clippers swept in home finales
Women’s basketball
Highline 66, SPSCC 36 – Box score
South Puget Sound’s three sophomores scored 22 of the Clippers’ 36 points in their 66-36 loss to Highline. Sarah Houchen led the way with 10 points while McKenzie Raben and Renee Willey each added six.
Men’s basketball
Highline 80, SPSCC 76 – Box score
Kole Podowicz scored 20 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, AJ Fuller scored 24 points and Jamey Smith added 18 in their last home games for South Puget Sound but the Clippers gave up 50 points in the second half and were unable to hold a halftime 33-30 halftime lead and fell 80-76 to Highline. Scotty Ewing struggled shooting the ball in his final game at SPSCC scoring just four points on 2-of-11 shooting, but he did dish out seven assists.
