Today (11/3): Geoducks soccer, volleyball; SPSCC soccer; Playoff football

The playoff bound Evergreen men’s soccer team takes on Northwest University today on Evergreen Pitch. Eight Geoducks will be honored on senior day. Kyle Wiese, George Bundy, Josh Strasser, Kevin Flavin, Jeremy Novack, Ben Joselyn, Brandon Wood and Mirza Memic will all play their final regular season home game.

The Geoducks knocked off the Eagles 4-0 in Kirkland on September 29th in their first meeting this season. First kick today is scheduled for 1:00 PM

Also in men’s soccer action, South Puget Sound wraps up their season with a home game against Southwestern Oregon. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in Coos Bay on October 20th. First kick at the RAC is at 2:00 PM.

The Evergreen volleyball team is still looking for their first win in their final game of the season. Three seniors – Sasha Nash, Sonja Arrasi-Nash and Stephanie Peshlakai-John – will be honored before the game. Game time at the CRC Gymnasium is set for 7:00 PM.

Last, but certainly not least, three high school football playoff games are on tap tonight but just one of them is in town…

North Thurston vs. Rainier Beach – South Sound Stadium – 7:00 PM
Olympia @ Auburn – Auburn Memorial Stadium – 7:00 PM
Shelton @ Nathan Hale – Seattle Memorial Stadium – 7:00 PM

You can listen to the Shelton/Nathan Hale game on 1030 AM and KMAS.com with me on the play-by-play. Unfortunately, it’s the only game broadcast live tonight.
