Today (6/20): Summer baseball is a go
All six PSCL teams are in action today in three games taking place at both the RAC and Saint Martin’s on this beautiful first day of summer.
In the 5:00 PM games, the West Olympia Linx take on the Olympia Athletics at Saint Martin’s and the Lacey Saints play the Nisqually Silvers at the RAC. The Linx knocked off the A’s yesterday to move to 3-0 in league and are now a full game ahead of the Saints (2-1) for first place. The Silvers knocked off the Saints on June 10th in the preseason to pick up their first and only win so far.
In the nightcap, the Tumwater Brewers face the Hawks Prairie Cardinals at the RAC. Both the Brewers and Cardinals are 1-2 in the young league portion of the season. This is the first meeting between the two teams this season. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
