It was a good night for Tumwater, but a rough one for Lacey. Ivan Mendez had the equalizer in the 29th minute for the Hawks. At South Sound Stadium, North Thurston dropped to 1-1 in the 2A EvCo with their loss to Tumwater. The T-Birds are now 2-0 in conference play. And Timberline couldn’t stop Decatur’s Michael Klavuhn in their non-league game in Federal Way. Klavuhn scored four goals for the Gators in their 5-1 victory over the Blazers.
