Meanwhile, across town at Ingersoll Stadium, the first place Capital girl’s soccer team hosts Tumwater. The Cougars are 5-1 in the 2A EvCo while the T-Birds are two games off the pace at 3-3. This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. Tumwater jumped out to a two goal lead on the Cougars on September 6th but Capital scored four unanswered goals to knock off the T-Birds.
In other girl’s soccer action, Black Hills, who is tied with Capital for first place in the EvCo, welcomes Aberdeen to Tumwater Stadium at 7:00 PM. And Centralia comes to South Sound Stadium to take on River Ridge, also at 7:00 PM.
